Established in 2002, Vagabond specialises in off the beaten path tours of Ireland and offer a wide range of tour options to some of the most beautiful locations around the country. Vagabond Tours have been awarded the ‘Best Adventure Experience’ at both the 2015 and 2017 Irish Tourism Awards. Vagabond Tours engaged Radii’s web design team to reimagine their digital presence.

Background

Vagabond Tours engaged Radii with a very clear brief: refine their web presence with a highly creative fully responsive website, grow their organic reach via SEO and streamline the booking process. Core to this requirement was a focus on User Experience (UX) and the brand personality.

Implementation

Throughout the research and design phase we focused on discovering ways to showcase Vagabond’s unique brand and provide the visitor with all of the details required to make a booking decision. The majority of site visitors and Vagabond customers are from Europe and North America, so showcasing Ireland’s natural beauty and the Vagabond tour experience was paramount.

The Solution

The online experience for Vagabond users needed to be refreshed with a design that meets the growing expectations of today’s users, along with best practices in website design. Working closely with the client we developed a website which reflected the core pillars of the Vagabond brand. We continually provide Vagabond with UX enhancements for their website as part of our ongoing relationship.
